About That “Secret Pizza Place” on the Vegas Strip

I’ll admit it, I’m a sucker for a great slice of New York style Pizza. I mean really, does it get any better? Hot out of the oven, with the aromas of fresh dough, sweet herbed tomato sauce, and almost-burning melted mozzarella forming an intoxicating blend? Whoa, I’m making myself hungry just thinking about it.

But I have to be honest, despite all the great food on the Las Vegas Strip, I have had a hard time finding a decent slice of pie. That is, until now. Because The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas has done it, and in a really cool way.

I wrote about Cosmo's secret pizza joint as a guest blogger for Zeke Quesada's GoVegas pages on About.com. But I also wanted to share some extra photos I took of the place.

Don’t try to find this information on Cosmopolitan’s website, or anywhere else online. You won’t. This place has no name, no sign…I’m not even sure if they have a phone. You’ll find it by walking down a long hallway decorated with old album covers, on Level 3 in between the Jaleo and Blue Ribbon restaurants.

It’s little more than a counter, about six chairs, and an old “Vegas” pinball machine and Galaga video game (both work). But within the first two weeks its already garnered its share of fans leaving dollars on the wall, including World Champ Gamer Fatal1ty, who taped up a $100 tip. No kidding.

To paraphrase Ben Franklin, proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.
