About E.C. Gladstone
E.C. Gladstone has been eating as far back as he can remember. Since then, barely a day has passed when he hasn’t indulged in the fine and necessary art of degustation.
Some of his formative meals have included the legendary Luchöw’s on 14th Street and JoJo, both New York… The Don Cesar Hotel in St. Petersburg, Fl… Simpson’s in the Strand, London… The Inn at Little Washington, VA… the original Border Grill on Melrose, LA… Emeril’s original Nola and Antoine’s, both New Orleans… Restaurant Guy Savoy and Restaurant Charlie (Trotter) both Las Vegas… tapas on Las Ramblas, Barcelona, and many more less savoury establishments which shall (for the time being) remain nameless.
He played a pivotal role in conceptualizing Silver Lake’s beloved and influential Edendale Grill & Mixville Bar, contributing to the naming, décor, concept, original food and classic cocktail menu (He was also a principal investor).
As a writer, he's written about food, luxury and travel for online and print publications including Niche Media's Ocean Drive, VEGAS and others (24 cover stories), Haute Living, Orbitz.com, Away.com, Jetsetter, Tasting Table, Where LA, Wine & Spirits, Decanter, Asylum.com and many others.
